Den

Den Legaspi is an Art Director and Graphic Designer based in Oakland & the SF Bay Area of California.  Originally a sculptural / multi-media installation artist that moved into graphic design, Den specializes in working with artists, nonprofits, cultural organizations, publications, and the like, believing great design can also contribute to a better world. Den believes in collaborative design, understanding purpose and intent, leveraging technology, and communicating with stunning visuals. Extraordinary Invention x Daredevil Design for all!

Den has worked with several organizations including artEquity, the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center, the Brattle Film Foundation, At the Bruns, Cuyler Consulting, Family Builders, Freshmeat Productions, the Garage, Jess Curtis / Gravity, Legal Aid at Work, Naganuma Dance, openhouse, Outlook Theater Project, the Queer Cultural Center, Queer Rebels, the Queer Women of Color Media Arts Project, RADAR Productions, PBS, Playwrights Foundation, the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival, Sean Dorsey Dance, San Jose State Sculptural Department, Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences, and many more.  Den also works with individual artists, musicians, and performers.  Den was the Art Director at The California Shakespeare Theater (CalShakes) working directly with Artistic Director Eric Ting to collaborate on art work with Marcus Gardley, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, KJ Sanchez, and Octavio Solis.  Den is currently the Art Director at TheatreWorks.
